Our History

Hilliard Cheer Academy is in its tenth year, but its beginnings were more than a decade ago when Kelley Clark had a vision to build a cheerleading family to serve all of Hilliard's cheer athletes--from the All-Star cheerleader to the school cheerleader to the recreational cheerleader. HCA has it all!

What We Offer

HCA offers something for every cheerleader, from competitive to performance teams, as well as classes and private lessons.

  • All-Star cheerleading is a competitive sport.
  • All-Star cheer is divided into USASF levels 1-5, based on stunting and tumbling skills.
  • HCA works to keep our athletes competing locally as often as possible.
  • HCA's All-Star athletes practice two times per week, with the amount of hours varying based on the USASF level of the team.

  • Paw Starz is our performance cheer team program.
  • Paw Starz do not compete, but they do perform 4-6 times in Hilliard.
  • Paw Starz practice for one hour per week.

  • HCA has a performance dance team that does not compete, but will perform at events in the Hilliard area.

  • HCA offers recreational tumbling and cheer skills classes for athletes in grades K-12.

  • Private lessons for tumbling, cheer skills, and school cheer tryout preparation can be scheduled with any of our coaches by calling HCA.
